Welcome to Roberts!

You made the right choice! We want you to become more familiar with the campus and your new home before you start classes the next day. 

All new first-year and transfer students are expected to participate in the New Student Orientation program August 21-24. It will be very beneficial to you and your new beginnings at Roberts!

Garlock Dining Commons | Thursday, August 21st from 10:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

Enjoy your first lunch of the semester with your student! Family members of Roberts students are encouraged to purchase lunch tickets in advance. Receive your pre-purchased tickets during check-in at the Welcome Tent on August 21st from 8:30 a.m. - 12:45 p.m. Additional tickets may be purchased in Garlock Dining Commons that day. Do not purchase lunch tickets for Roberts students on this website. The Office of Student Life will provide each new Roberts student with a complimentary lunch ticket.

South Campus

The Quads consist of three buildings, O’Brien, Updyke, and Magill. Home to our first-year female students, the quads hold about 144 residents. Each building has two floors, with one female Resident Advisor per floor.

These dorms are suited for standard double-occupancy, with 12'x15' rooms and furnished with beds, dressers, bookshelves, desks, and chairs.

Miner Hall, a brick building

Miner Hall is the dorm where we place our incoming freshmen as well as some returning students. It consists of suite style living with a shared living space and bathroom per suite, as well as each suite consisting of 4-5 rooms! Each room is set up for double occupancy and is furnished with beds, dressers, a desk and chair set as well as a bookshelf. The building itself is 4 stories high with a lounge on the first floor consisting of a large TV, Pool Table and where the Miner Mission Bible Study is held.

North Campus

 

Davison Hall

Davison Hall is home to both female (2nd & 3rd floors) and male residents (1st floor) with 2 RA's per floor, ranging from sophomores to seniors! It can house approximately 200 students and is well-loved for its pod-style suites and air conditioning. Students living in Davison have chosen to live together based on their existing relationships and programs and events are focused on navigating their already-formed campus connections. Davison features a large lounge on the first floor, complete with chairs, tables, a TV,
and a piano.

The Beeson Apartments are home to both female and male residents, ranging from juniors to graduate students! The two apartment layouts in this area can either house 2 or 4 students and have a full kitchen and living room. Programming and Events in this area focus on life after college. Apartment residents are qualified for a reduced meal plan.

The Alumni Village consists of four two-story residence halls (Morrow, Sittig, Mohnkern, and Whittingham) that house approximately 20 male students each in their sophomore to graduate student years. The Alumni Villages are loved for their close-knit communities developed by students who are building on their existing campus relationships. Each building has a spacious lounge area and kitchen. Alumni Villages are split between undergraduate and graduate student housing.

Located on North Campus, our fifteen townhouses are home to primarily senior students. Focusing on life after Roberts, these apartments house either 4 or 6 students and have fully functioning kitchens, and large living rooms. Students living in the townhouses have access to the Daily Lounge which features a TV, couches, laundry machines, and a ping-pong table. Apartment residents are qualified for a reduced meal plan.
